Strengthening Education

Scott's reforms have helped local school districts save tens of millions of dollars and keep class sizes low.

Now, Scott's bipartisan "Read to Lead Taskforce" is working to make sure young Wisconsin students are properly prepared for a lifetime of learning. Click HERE to read what the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel had to say about Scott's initiative.

Balancing Budgets & Respecting the Taxpayer

Scott's reforms did far more than "just" close a $3.6 billion deficit without raising taxes. They are helping solidify state and local governments' finances for years to come.

Scott's reforms have already helped save the taxpayers more than $475 million, and his budget paid off more than $800 million in debt left behind by the previous governor while also investing $1.2 billion in Medicaid - the single largest investment in Medicaid in state history.
