Scott's reforms are helping put more Wisconsin residents back to work. Wisconsin has added jobs, and the future is even brighter. In a recent survey, 94% of Wisconsin business leaders say the state is moving in the right direction. Before Scott took office, 90% said the state was headed in the wrong direction.
Additionally, Chief Executive Magazine this year ranked Wisconsin as the 24th best state for business. In 2010, Wisconsin ranked 41st. Wisconsin's improvement led the nation.
Scott's reforms have helped local school districts save tens of millions of dollars and keep class sizes low.

Scott's reforms did far more than "just" close a $3.6 billion deficit without raising taxes. They are helping solidify state and local governments' finances for years to come.
Scott's reforms have already helped save the taxpayers more than $475 million, and his budget paid off more than $800 million in debt left behind by the previous governor while also investing $1.2 billion in Medicaid - the single largest investment in Medicaid in state history.
